As the two officers were winding down and looking over the officer reports, Abby let out a kitten yawn.

“Abby head to bed, this is what – hour 20? Come in late I will cover your shift til you make it in.” Chris said.

“I’m fine Chris. Really.” Abby protested as thevlast words from her mouth formed a yawn.

“Go. By the way make sure to put in for your quarters transfer.” Chris reminded her.

“Huh?” Abby looked shocked.

“You are my first officer, your quarters are on Deck 1.” He said.

Chris got up and signaled for his first officer to follow him. As they rounded the corners Chris sarcastically pointed his quarters, the conference lounge, and her quarters. It even had her name on it.

“No one told me. I’ve been in cabin 362.” She blushed.

“Those are chief cabins. This is yours. Go in, get some rest. See you no earlier than 0000 hours. Your stuff will be packed up while you sleep and transported while you work. Enjoy your downtime.” Chris said, before she could object he closed the door on her and went back to his ready room.

Moments later his door rang, it was Meila Tris, he looked at her warmly. She had been through a lot the past year. “Right on time Tri.”

She smiled, she was originally slated to be the ships CO before she had to take command of the Powhatan, but now, she isn’t sure what is going on. “So,” she took a deep breath, “hi.”

“What the hell happened out there?” Chris asked.

“I haven’t got the foggiest, we started out, initial scans, four Romulan ships decloaked and told us to leave. As we went to leave, our Warp Bubble burst, which is similar to the effect that happened around the planet. There is some link…” she stopped.

“Well the Pow is tethered. She is on the brink of destruction and practically a write off. The Chief Medical Officer has made a request that all Medical needs be met on the Sacagawea. She is going to be laid up in dock for quite some time. I granted it. For now, take it easy, I am sure the others at TF93 Command would like to hear from you. My advice, be honest and completely thorough.” He offered his hand.

She took his hand, but paused, “Thank you for your support, but I already talked to them, I am moving to SB192 along the Klingon NZ. It is better for me. More Medically Focused.” she smiled.

“That is where we are going to be based out of too, I look forward to working with you more.” Chris smiled.
