Location: Overwatch Station, Conference Room 

“I want to thank everyone for coming today.” Elsie started to say if she looked around her comfort room table at all of her department heads. 

“Let’s get straight down to business, I hope you all have your coffee cuz it’s probably going to be a quick meeting but it could spiral out of control so just be prepared, but my intent is to make this quick into the point.” Elsie continued to say that she continued to look around.

Darin waited to se what everyone was going to say, he could chime in, but this was a good opportunity for them to shine.

“Lieutenant Uzo and Lieutenant Woodward, your two departments are going to be called upon the most. Currently I’m dispatching a Runabout and two of our starships over to the Talvath System.” Elsie started to explain if she got up and walked over to the main display console in the conference room.

“We’re going to see if there are any Romulan ships hiding in this area. We’re going to expand our sensor net to its maximum potential by enhancing it with the Runabout plus the two Starship sensors. If the Tal Shair are out there we’re going to flush them out.” Elsie said as she showed a tactical display of the area. It was a good plan but slightly aggressive, and Elsie knew this. 

“Sickbay, will be ready, I will go over with my crew about setting up triage centers if need be.” Quincy said, with a warm smile on his face.

“That’s a great idea.” Elsie said, as she continued to look around the room.

“Will we be canceling any flights in or out,” Nicorrina asked. She needed to prepare in case that happened.” 

“I dont believe so, this mission should not affect daily operations.” Elsie said, as she looked over to Nicorrina thinking that was a great question. The mission should not affect daily life. She hoped it would not. 

“If the Tal Shair retaliates, we should be ready to receive them, Ma’am.” Sotti suggested, as she looked over to Elsie and then at the group. 

The rest of the crew started to talk about the mission at hand. “There should be little threat to the station, but to be on the safe side till the end of the mission, we will be high alert.” Elsie suggested as she looked over to Sotti. Then she looked at the rest of the staff, to see if they had anything to add, or questions to ask. 

“I will keep an eye on things with ships and freighters in the area.” Elsbeth spoke up. “Often they hear things we are not privy to.”

“And I will be super aware of those coming in and out.” Zako spoke up as well. “It is possible that they may try to sneak on the base.” 

“Is there anything you would like me to do, Commodore?” Thyhl asked her. He couldn’t think of much himself. “I will make certain we can raise the station shields should we need too quickly.”

“Keep your department informed, this goes for all of you.” Elsie said to the entire senior staff. 

“You can count on sickbay being ready.” Quincy said, with a tone of pride in his voice. They would be ready for the Tal Shair, if the situation called for it.

“Counseling will be ready as well.” Zacariah said, as he decided to chime in. 

“Any other questions?” Elsie asked, as the scene starts to fade. 

“We understand, Commodre.” Nicorrina murmured and the others nodded in agreement.
