Rea straightened her uniform, prepared for the onslaught of appointments that were going to flood her office over the next week or so. Than there were the stoic ones, also known as the senior staff, who didn’t take their mental health so serious. The ones that she would have to chase down, and pretty much sit on to get them to talk to her. Imal, was the worse for that.

“Ensign, welcome in.” she said to the guest. Suddenly she was thrust into his thoughts, the attack, he was front and center… and it wasn’t Vaadduar.

“Can I get you anything? Something perhaps to calm you? Water, tea?” Rea offered.

“No thank you Counselor.” he said at a distance. “So I haven’t been to a counselor before, I don’t know what to do talk about.”

“That is fine, I have a feeling a lot of people who haven’t been here will be admitting that this week,” she smiled, “I am here to talk about whatever you feel like. What seems to be bothering you?”

“The attack… It seemed like I failed. I was assigned VIP Security and I was knocked down…” he looked down. “Some sort of floating space suit, with a red metal.”

“A red metal? Have you told Commander Lacroix yet?” She asked.

“No, not yet. It seemed they were after someone.” the young ensign grew uncomfortable. His thoughts, the flashes, there was sudden flashes of pain, a redness, and dark. The ensign was in pain, and than nothing.

“Ensign?” Rea got up to her feet, she sensed nothing, “Ensign….” still nothing. “Medical Emergency Counselor Rea’s Office. Commander Lacroix please come to my office.”
