Sylvain stepped out of the Captain’s ready room, that is where they decided to take Captain Delaney, it was private and well, it was her room. “When Meila is done there, I will have her check you two out.” Lacroix said in a firm voice.

He wanted to make sure both Talat & T’mal who had taken the helm were in fighting shape. “Status report?” he asked.

“Everything is stabilizing Sir, closest Starbase is DS47 in the Thormar Expanse.” Reported T’mal.

“I am assuming we have some sort of shields and warp?” the First officer enquired.

“Curious.” T’mal tilted her head.

“We are running by some very… questionable areas. I don’t want to be caught with out pants down.” Sylvain said.

“Well even with emergency warp, we will have to slow down to go through the badlands.” Talat said.

“Agreed. But we will handle that when we get there.” Sylvain reassured her.

“What about the Cardassians?” Came a voice from behind them. It was a young Cardassian Lieutenant.

“Who are you?” asked Sylvain.

“I am Talarn Rugal, relief CONN Sir.” Talarn, said in a low tone.

Wondering what the interaction of the young 20-something Cardassian man was with the other soldiers was from the Dominion War was like, Sylvain steadied himself, “Lieutenant take the helm, is there any Cardassian bases nearby?”

Lt. T’mal made her way to the Sensor read out… “Xepok Nor. She is a Nor Class Starbase and well it seems to be under the control of the Cardassian Union.”

“Your Orders Sir?” Talarn asked.

He wasn’t sure, he could head into the Cardassian Territory to seek help, or run the risk and head into raider territory with a crippled ship. “Set course for Xepok Nor, as fast as we can push it. T’mal, let’s review the sensor logs, lets see what they were after.”
