Elsie finally had made it up to the command center of the station. She was not alone. She was accompanied by her first officer. “Commander Greenwood, have you completed your rounds this morning?”

Darrin smiled as he looked at Elsie. “I have Ma’am, I am starting to learn my way around this station.” He explained to her. The saucer like sections almost seemed like a maze. He quickly started to figure out the maze.

“That makes one of us, there are six saucers, and I am still confused half of the time.” Elsie pointed out to him with a grin.

“How about you Ma’am, did you meet most of the senior staff?” Darrin asked as he waited for Elsie to respond.

“We have an interesting crew, Number One. But I would not have it any other way.” Elsie pointed out to Darrin.

“We are all a bunch of characters.” Darrin said with a big barrel-like laugh.

“I am right there with you all. I swear when I was first officer of the Sirona, with Captain Dhej, the entire crew was unique in their own way.” Elsie suggested, but not really giving him any information about her time on the Sirona.

“Oh before I forget, congratulations on getting the array operational. That will help out the station personnel, and also get Starfleet off our back, I hope you all had a chance to take a closer look at Starbase Bravo and assess the Vaadwaur threat?”

“Lieutenant Uzo deserves all the credit, she pulled it together. I was just there to help and to make it sure it was completed.” Darrin suggested. He then went on. “After calibrations were done, we turned the telescope towards Starbase Bravo, it appears that the Vaadwaur have withdrawn for now.”

“Thats is good to hear, seems like the crisis is now over. But They could return, but for now we can refocus our efforts on exploring the Talvath Cluster. Starfleet still wants us to come up with new star charts, for the exploration fleet to investigate.” Elsie pointed out to him.

“Lieutenant Uzo has been made aware, and she promises as soon as the scans come in, she will immediately work on them.” Darrin said to Elsie.

Lieutenant Armando Montoya walks into the Command Center. “Commodore Coleman.” He called out, as he started to make his way over to her.

Elsie turned to Darrin. “Looks like duty calls, this should be interesting.” She said with a big humbling smile on her face, as she waited for Armando to walk over to her.

As soon as he arrived, Elsie then said to him. “Yes Lieutenant, do you have something to report?” She asked, as he stood next to her, and had a data pad in his hand.

“The SS Coventry is scheduled to be arriving in the next 4.5 hours.” Armando pointed out to her.

“The Paso Robles is scheduled to be back in 5.15 hours, we might want to call Captain Gutierrez and have him increase speed, to make it here in 4.5 hours. We dont have the room for the Coventry to offload here on the station.” Elsie advised Armando.

“I was going to make that suggestion, I guess great minds think alike Ma’am.”

“They do indeed, Lieutenant. They do indeed.” Elsie said as she noticed more members of the senior staff coming to the command operations center of the station. “I want you to contact the Paso Robles and have them increase speed, then I want you contact the Coventry and advise them of the Paso Robles expected arrival to the station, and how you took steps to rectify the situation.”

“Yes Ma’am.” Armando said, as she noticed Lieutenant Katie Woodward walking up, she was the Chief Science Officer of the station.

Elsie also noticed the arrival of the chief science officer. With a warm smile, she turned from Armando to Katie. Then she said, “Lieutenant, do you have something to report?” Elsie asked, as she watched Katie looking at a data padd.

“My science teams are eager to start their scientific exploration. They are requesting to use two of the shuttles to continue the work that Captain Nal’s science team started on moon designated Cyclops in the database. ” Katie said, as she handed Elsie the data padd. The mission was going to be a week long observation on two Atlantic Class Runabouts. They wanted to use the Mare Cognitum and the Oceanus Procellarum for the mission.

Elsie reviewed the padd, “Do you think they are ready, or do you think we should have them review the previous files regarding the moon of New Java?” Elsie asked as she waited for Katie to respond.

“They are ready Ma’am, as a precaution, I will have them review the files again when they arrive. But they are prepared Ma’am.” Katie advised Elsie.

“I want you to keep in contact with them, since it says you’re not going on the mission, but they have a good head to carry out the mission.” Elsie suggested as she looked over to Darrin. He remained silent as he listened in.

“Lieutenant Uzo, I heard all the credit goes to you. Congratulations on getting the array online.” Elsie said as she watched Mika walk onto the bridge.

“Thank you Ma’am, it was really a team effort, I was just the tool that help orchast the team.” Mika suggested to Elsie.

At the same time, Lieutenant Zako Joyiru walked into the command operations center. He walked in with Lieutenant Nicorrina Santana, she was in charge of flight operations and he was the transportation director.

“Perfect timing the two of you. Lieutenant Joyiru, our Chief Science Officer will have a runabout request coming you’re way, they have a greenlight.” Elsie started to say.

Zako was mildly surprised but in a good way, first day on the job and he already had work todo.

“I will get to those request, as soon as they hit my inbox.” Zako said, hoping it was not a mission dealing with the Vaadwaur. He was tired of dealing with them.

“Lieutenant Santana, they will need to get their flight plans approve, so expect that to come in shortly.” Elsie suggested as she looked over to Katie, who simply nodded her head, that they will be completed shortly.

Nicorrina smiled as she chimed in. “I will get on it right away, Commodore.”

“I appreciate that Lieutenant.” Elsie said, as more fo the senior staff came into the command operations center area of the station.

Quincy McAdams, Zachariah McCall, Elsbeth O’Reilly, Thyl Sh’zh’thranth and Sotti Sh’thothrath all walked into the command operations center.

Elsie grinned as she said. “Alright lets do a round robin, and Doctor you’re up first. How are things in Sickbay?” She asked as she looked at Quincy.

“Most of the crew have completed their physicals, but we are still waiting on a few. We are fully supplied though.” He quickly reported.

“Counseling how are we looking?” Elsie said as she looked over to Zachariah.

“Nothing to report now, but I can say that my calendar is starting to fill up.” He said, thinking to himself that he is going to be busy this month.

“Engineering, what do you have to report?” Elsie asked as she looked over Thyhl.

“Everything is running smoothly, no complaints from me.” Thyhl said with a warm smile on his face. He then looked over to Elsbeth.

“Operations what do you have?” Elsie asked as she looked over to Elsbeth.

“Having a few issues on Deck 14, but we are working on it. Nothing we can’t handle Ma’am.” Elsbeth said, not really giving further information.

“Very well. Now that leaves Security, what do you have to report?” Elsie asked as she looked over to Sotti.

“Security checks and clearances are all approved and granted, so that’s good news.” Sotti said, as she started to say. The scene starts to fade away as the crew of Overwatch Station begin to talk about daily operational things for the station.
