Location: Overwatch Station, DSRTA Office

Mika Uzo wasted little time getting a bored over washation the first place you wanted to head to was her office. She wasn’t sure what she thought of her current assignment. Part of her was angry. Party room is confused? There were some space relay stations all over she didn’t need exactly a department head position but her CO recommended to her they she should take one.

It was strange for her to think that she was no longer an assistant and that she was now the chief of her own department. But that was a problem for another day right now she just wanted to get into the office and have a look around and take a look at some of the preliminary data. Over the past couple years they finally got the array up and running and it still had about another 2 and 1/2 years left on this expected lifespan.

The Daren Subspace Radio Telescope Array, I was seen by a lot of Romulans, as being a spy Network radio telescope array. Mika had her the rumors too, and she didn’t get any briefing about this being an intelligence array but she wanted to make sure for herself since she would be the one in charge of the program.

Mika didn’t sign up to be a spy, and if this was a spy related telescope, her and the Commodore will be having a few words. Mika lived by the will of the prophets, and spying on the neighbors, was not part of her religion.

If she wanted to be a spy, then she would have signed up to become a spy. She was not sure, if the array was used for spying or not. She was thinking worst case scenario’s. She loved to be prepared for all types of situations.

“You know it is customary to meet you’re commanding officer first, when you first arrive on a station, Lieutenant.” Elsie said as she walked into the office, unannounced.

“Commodore Coleman, my apologies. I had no idea you would come down to my office. I was just having a look around. It was late, I was going to meet you in the morning.” Mika said, trying to make something up on the fly. She was going to meet the Commodore in the morning. Mainly because she wanted to know before she went, if this was a spy station.

“I can appreciate the fact, that you would want to get started right away, and have a look around.” Elsie said, not knowing that Mika was a little skeptical.

“That’s me Ma’am, eager to get started with my assignment.” Mika pointed out to the Commodore. She wanted to know if her suspicions were right.

“You’re forgetting one vital step, you dont have clearance till you check in and security give you the clearances you seek.” Elsie pointed out to Mika.

Mika wanted to kick herself, forgetting that simple fact. “You’re right Ma’am.” Mika said, feeling very dumb.

“It’s how I knew you were here, the logs detected an unauthorized presence and notified me and security. So I came down to investigate. I was relieved it was you in here.” Elsie suggested to Mika.

“I’m sorry for any inconvenience, Commodore Coleman.” Mika said, as she was a little skeptical of the Commodore just showing up like that. What was going on here?

“I expect to see you at 0800 hours for a proper meeting.” Elsie said, as the scene starts to fade away with the two talking for a bit, and Elsie practically kicking out Mika.

Elsie did not want too, but she did not yet have security clearance. The scene fades away.
