The Commanding officer made his way to the exit of the Conference lounge, “I will be in engineering if needed.” he took his leave briskly. Via the bridge, and ushered himself right into a turbolift, he didn’t want a report, of the damage or of a Breen ship running up his backside…

He finally had a chance to pause, for 2 minutes. Was he over his head, did he jump in too fast, this was a lot more than Tactical Missions and a Raven Class  starship. Yes there is the normal argument of ‘Starfleet would not put you here if they didn’t believe in you,’ bs, but this time it isn’t enough. What the heck led them to believe he could lead a crew. He let out a scream, and behind him came a chuckle. 

“I may not be a telepathic Sir, but I recognize that internal dialog, why did they choose me. Well I have no idea why the Federation passed me out of the Academy or why Captain Delaney Chose me to Serve on the H out of the academy, but they did. For a Ferengi woman, who is meant to be subservient all her life to a male partner who may or may not be trying hunt her down on a family business transaction, I am proud of the fact I was chosen, and you should be too.” Lt. Nimora said quickly. 

“When did you get in here?” Andrew asked. 

“When you did, you didn’t notice?” Talat asked. “Sir, you need to calm down and get out of your head, let’s go to ‘The Dirty Politician’. C’mon, have a drink… ”

“A drink does sound … The Dirty Politician?” Andrew Questioned. 

“Yes, Rodney used to be a politician, let’s go.” Talat smiled.
