Task Force 93 Report #1

March 23, 2025

Since our last report, we’ve faced off against smugglers, pirates, and the many hidden threats lurking within the Federation’s underbelly. Our brave adventurers met each challenge head-on, demonstrating resilience and skill throughout the intense Devil to Pay campaign—earning a well-deserved respite after their hard-fought victories. But as one chapter closes, another begins, and Task Force 93 is entering a time of exciting change. So let’s dive right in!

Task Force Updates

As is often the case, we’ve witnessed both farewells and new beginnings within the Task Force. In December, Imya Jori (AzrasD) stepped down as Task Force Commanding Officer, passing the torch to Captain Cliff Pryce (Hurkx), who now leads us into a new chapter. With the arrival of 2025, Octavian Jackson (Kerbero) also stepped down as Task Force Executive Officer, and we welcomed Alexandria Mitchell (Mitchell) from TF86 as our newest Executive Officer.

We also welcome several new arrivals to the Task Force, each bringing their own stories into our community. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to:

Fiction updates

USS Sternbach Newly transferred to Starfleet and stationed on the USS Sternbach, Lieutenant Dhae is fascinated with the idea of gossip. The Romulan is always eager to uncover secrets, and has organized an elegant dinner party. But everyone on the ship starts acting very suspicious. On a pre-warp planet a D’deridex-class warbird has crashed. The Romulan Republic requests the help of a Starfleet crew to retrieve all the pieces and airlift the warbird. The problem? The very curious pre-Warp avian species that already lived on that planet, of course.

USS San Diego The new crewmembers of the San Diego have to adjust to having a new ship, new captain and new missions.

Mirage Station, USS Neptune, USS Tianwen The newly built Mirage Station is starting its time off with ships arriving and officers learning who each other are. Could there be secrets brought to light? Or does this begin something with no excitement?

Eos Frontier Squadron – When a Division member goes missing under suspicious circumstances, the following investigation leads to the underworld of encrypted communications, and illegal smuggling. Dealing with a new operation, the Phoenix Consortium, Captain Mitchell goes up against their ruthless leader, Ambrose Nichols.  After their conflict ends, Eos Station refocuses on its original mission modernizing the station but not before saying goodbye to the USS Edison and welcoming the USS Yeager.

USS Paramount A distress signal has reached Archanis Station originating from the trailing spinward edge of the sector. The SS Calgary, a modified Kaplan F17 has been attacked. As rescue ships arrive at the scene they discover the ship severely damaged and it’s crew missing. The Paramount is dispatched to take over the investigation as they search to find out what has happened to the Calgary‘s crew and who attacked them. Upon further investigation they discover evidence that the ship had been employed by the Iron Syndicate to transport something of high importance. For the past year the black market has been booming with Federation tech stolen from a classified facility. Federation Security is most concerned about a subspace pulse torpedo capable of disabling a ship’s warp field rendering it immobile for an estimated three hours. As well as a graviton shield capable of absorbing and redirecting the energy from on coming attacks. The Paramount has been tasked with following the trail and finding the stolen technology and any other tech that may have been stolen before it falls into the wrong hands. A colony on the edge of Federation space in the Kintara System has been attacked. Rumors from the capital say that three B’rel-class Bird-of-Preys were the perpetrators. Across the sector rumors of a Klingon attack have surfaced. Members of Starfleet Security argue that it was instead the work of the pirates but maybe… Could it have been both?

Saratoga Emissary Squadron The USS Illustrious teams up with the USS Shepard to deliver supplies to a colony within the old Romulan Neutral Zone. While this was supposed to be a simple humanitarian aid, it became more sinister. They both discover that the syndicate is holding an auction selling illicit technology. The turn of events will test both crews in hopes of stopping this auction and recovering the technology so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. The Squadron learns of raiders using what is believed to be experimental weapons to target traders on a distant Federation border. Triumph, Argo, and Argus are dispatched to respond to the reports; while en route, they receive a chilling distress call from a freighter currently under attack. They are to figure out who these raiders are, stop them, and trace where these devices come from.
