Task Force 63

Members of Bravo Fleet:

Due to the ongoing successes of Bravo Fleet as a whole, I’m pleased to announce that a new Task Force will be opening up. But this one has been coming for a long time. Not just any Task Force, but one with a lot of Bravo Fleet history: Task Force 63. Task Force 63 was historically the “Marine” Task Force in Bravo Fleet for many years in the 00s.

One of my many outlooks and guidelines as a leader and as BFCO over these past few years has been to sing praises when things work, admit when they don’t, admit when we’re wrong, and work to make things better. One thing that we’ve clearly gotten wrong is Marines. I’m not afraid to admit when I’m wrong, and I was wrong here. Starfleet Marines are very clearly canon to Star Trek, and it’s time that Bravo Fleet adopted them.

From here on out, Starfleet Marines are 100% canon to Star Trek, just as Gene Roddenberry intended! No clearer evidence exists than the fact that he didn’t include them in any on screen depiction of Star Trek.

All the evidence is there if you’re willing to fabricate it yourself.

Need a strike team for all of the striking and infiltrating that Starfleet, the military wing of the imperialistic Federation, does? Marines.

Need to go in Rambo style, killing bad guys and murdering people as Starfleet is well known for? Marines.

Need a 21st century combustion powered gun that a 25th century Star Trek shield could easily stop? Marines.

Ready to destroy strange new worlds and kill new life and new civilizations? Marines.

Well, now we have a place for all our Starfleet Marine members to congregate and that is Task Force 63! As the old TF63 motto used to go, which totally makes sense 400+ years in the future of Star Trek: Semper Fi! Hoorah, Marines! Go out there and kill all the baddies.

Task Force 63 and the Starfleet Marines will be available starting today, April 1st.
