The Borg Are Everywhere!

Description

Following the Dominion War and subsequent small border wars, the galaxy had been at relative peace for a few years, and the Borg had decided to take advantage of the peace. Using a new transwarp technology, nearly the entirety of the Borg spread out through the galaxy and struck without warning. Slowly, the galaxy became assimilated. The Dominion, the Voth, and eventually the Federation.

You are a commanding officer on one of the last surviving Starfleet vessels that has managed to evade the Borg fleets. What do you do? Do you fight? Do you try to find survivors? Do you try to leave the galaxy and ever come back? The choice is yours, Captain!

Criteria

  • Write a story of no more than 2,000 words using one of your characters.
  • Submit your stories through Competition Submissions in BFMS, either as a Word file or directly into the submission box.
  • Stories will be judged based on situational creativity and use of character.
