It is August and that means that Back to School is just around the corner!

Have you ever been running around playing a game and been awed by the beauty of a certain location in game? Did you think to yourself: “Now there’s a place I’d like to vacation at if I could!” Do you have an idea for the nicest, most relaxing and breathtaking place to take one last Summer Vacation picked out in any of our supported games?

Here’s how it works: take a screenshot of the location of your choice for the “Perfect Last Summer Vacation” before Back to School. It must be from one of our supported games.

So grab your suitcases, bathing suits, and sunscreen, snap that award-winning shot and enter the Back to School Vacation Screenshot contest for a chance to win!

Criteria

  • Submit a screenshot showcasing your choice location for the Perfect Vacation Spot! The screenshot must be taken in one of our supported games.
  • The image should be no bigger than 2560 pixels by 1440 pixels
  • Entries will be judged using the following rubric:
  • Creativity (50%) - How imaginative is the location? Is the screenshot taken from a unique perspective?
  • Visual Appeal (30%) - Does the screenshot showcase good lighting? Is the variety of color a dominant feature throughout the screenshot?
  • Execution (20%) - Consider the overall quality. Is there sharpness and detail reflected in the screenshot?

This is a screenshot in Pokémon Go in Augmented Reality mode. I chose a Pokémon known as Meloetta. She's known for singing and is featured during in-game concert events. The location is a summer concert at a park. Note, this is an uncropped screenshot, with phone info blacked out in this mode. For Pokémon Go, the graphics are the real world.

I could see this image utilized to frame a small concert within the arc of Task force 21's Shore Leave arc. Image was resized using Adobe.
