South-east of the Grim Wall, deep within Klingon territory between the Boreth and Kayvok systems, lies the K’Matra star system. Resource-poor and of little strategic value to most, it is everything to the House of Qabhi: their home and fortress on the defensible moon K’Matra III. Long a vassal of the House of Koloth, Qabhi’s honor is well known.
Once a proud warrior house that stood firm against the Gorn, Qabhi has, over time, been eclipsed by more ambitious rivals. ’ech Khalara epetai-Qabhi, last lord of the line, fell in honorable battle defending Qo’noS during a sudden Vaadwaur incursion. Now his son, HoD Vor’aq epetai-Qabhi, inherits the title, and the burden of lordship.
Will Qabhi’s legacy end with a young captain… or rise again from embers into steel?
