Summary

Lorilen Tod is the current First Officer aboard the USS Sausilito. At the age of 38, she’s already had what she considers a successful career and she also has a 12 year old daughter who’s father is the new Chief Medical Officer that is also aboard the USS Sausalito. The two maintain a working relationship but are no longer lovers. Outside of her child, Lorilens priority is her crew and career.

Appearance

Lorilen stands at a mere 5′ 5″ tall and only weighs 135 lbs. She tends to wear her long, brown hair pulled back into a ponytail and she possess the typical all black eyes that are associated with Betazoids.

Personality

Like most Betazoids, Lorilenn is usually quiet because of her telepathic nature. She enjoys helping others and gets a sense of satisfaction form doing so. However, she has learned that being in charge can call for some equal and opposite reactions from what she’s used to. She can stand right in there with the best of them and speak her mind and fight to get her way if she believes it’s right.

History

Character Bio:

Early life:(2363-2381)

Lorilen was born on Betazed in 2363 to Osim and Jiani Tod and grew up near Lake Cataria. She had a pretty typical childhood with the exception of idolizing Deanna Troi of Starfleet. Ever since she had learned about the other woman, she found herself wanting to join Starfleet and wandering the Galaxy. Her parents were less than thrilled about this decision because she was their only child and tried everything to talk her out of it.

Things never got out of hand during their discussions and by the time Lorilen was fifteen, they had come to accept her choices. They decided that if she was going to go, she may as well be prepared the best she could so they brought her in several tutors who were tasked with teaching her about Starfleet’s in’s and out’s.

In 2381, she traveled to Delaria, home of the Starfleet Academy on Betazed and took her entrance exam. Two months later, she was accepted and began her Starfleet career.

Starfleet Academy/Starfleet Command School:(2381-2386)

Lorilen knew from the beginning that, unlike her hero, she didn’t want to be a ship’s counselor. She wanted to run the whole damn thing. She entered the Academy as a cadet on the Command Track.

USS Valkyrie:(2386-2401)

After graduation from the Academy and Starfleet Command School, she was assigned to the USS Valkyrie, where she spent most of her career until she was offered the First Officer spot aboard the USS Sausalito in 2401.

USS Sausalito:(2401-Present)

Lorilen accepted the offer to be the First Officer aboard the USS Sausalito and transferred aboard recently with her daughter in tow.
