Natalia’s journey into Starfleet began on Mellstoxx III, where she undertook her studies at Starfleet Academy. Graduating with honors, she set out to apply her knowledge in the field.

Her first posting was aboard the USS Arimathea, a Centaur-II class science ship, from 2397 to 2400. During this time, she honed her skills in practical research and developed a reputation for her innovative problem-solving. Her contributions ranged from analyzing celestial phenomena to aiding in the discovery of new star systems.

In 2400, Natalia’s journey led her to the USS Hathaway, a Sagan-class explorer, where she continued to excel. However, her time on the Hathaway was marked by the traumatic events of Frontier Day, which deeply affected her and her fellow crewmates. In the aftermath, seeking new horizons and a fresh start, Natalia made the decision to transfer to the USS Hypatia.
