Summary

David Windsor is a brilliant man of science. Brilliant, and absolutely eccentric. He has made his name in multiple publications as a renowned civilian scientist, but shocked everyone when he announced he’d joined Starfleet. Everyone thought of it as a ploy; an effort to drum up more recognition, but he followed through. He’s lived up to it as well, making several important breakthroughs during his time in the service. He is prone to talking to himself, misplacing things, and generally being odd, but he is brilliant, and once he sets his mind to something, nothing stops him. David can be quite charming at times, having little to no problem gathering the interest of just about any woman he wants. He can be a whiner through, when things don’t go his way. That’s a less endearing quality, but one the people in his department have learned to find endearing.

Appearance

David is handsome, with long hair that seems to be impeccably quaffed at all times. He is tall and slender, with a swimmers build, and deep soulful brown eyes. He dresses with style, even when he’s being casual, and is seldom seen in any type of casual wear unless he is physically ill.

Personality

Despite his brilliance, David is a worrisome man. He gets lost in numbers, facts, and data, and then finds himself confused as to what is going on. This constant state of near disassociation leaves him jittery and uncertain, but still doesn’t seem to slow down his scientific mind. Off duty he can be quite charming, easily able to carry on a conversation about current events, literature, art, or even sports. He is generally well liked by his friends, but most don’t count on him to remember their birthdays.
