Summary

William Alexander Murphy is biologically Terran, but was raised on Earth to appreciate Human and Federation morals and ideals. After his graduation from Starfleet Academy with high marks in both Engineering and Tactical classes, Section 31 could not pass up the obvious opportunity a Federation-Loyal Terran in Starfleet would pose for their clandestine operations within the mirror universe and intelligence gathering. Although he of course is happy to serve Starfleet where they need him most, he prefers to be a scientist, exploring more the engineering capabilities of starships and all technology, Federation and alien, and sometimes wonders if he would have been happier at Utopia Planitia than within Starfleet, but shakes those thoughts off, feeling selfish.
