Summary

Cadet Azorius is a happy go lucky and upbeat guy. Showing an early interest in the way people’s minds work and differ, he was born to study Psychology. Attending Starfleet Academy, the studious and excitable boy looks forward to the adventures await him aboard his first Starfleet posting.

Appearance

Freki has tawny golden fur with a mane of fiery red with darkened highlighted tips. His rounded ears perk when he is excited, as does his tail which swishes as he walks.

Standing at 172cm (ears not included!), he is around average for his species. He keeps himself relatively fit and though he is not musclebound, he is of a good toned and athletic figure which he keeps by doing plenty of cardio, running/jogging specifically.

He is mostly seen in his uniform but during off duty hours, he is known to wear comfortable suits of soft fabrics.

 

Personality

Since he was a young boy, Freki has been curious, excitable and upbeat. He has a thirst for knowledge and is engaged by cultural phenomenon, learning anthropology and sociology as well as diplomatic issues.

Any chance he has to make a friend out of someone new with a new story to tell and he will make the effort to do so. His youthful exuberance does lead him to appear naïve at times but it is mostly endearing.

History

Born on the Caitian Homeworld of Cait but relocated early to Starbase 87. Raised by a single working mother, G’Tra, aboard the stardock and engineering specialist station.

There was a constant coming and going of different ships and Freki had an early fascination for their residents and cultures more than their transportation. Having an insatiable curiosity for learning and experimenting, the young Caitian would often get into trouble for being in people’s personal space and in the wrong place at the wrong time.

As an early teen, Freki and his mother were resituating to a new Starbase closer to Earth in preparation for eventual enlistment into Starfleet.

Sadly, his mother was killed during an accident aboard the Erewon-class civilian transport ship USS Alhambra, a varied roster of travellers travelled closer to the Sol system. Dozens died, including the ship’s Captain and their helmsman. Investigations into the fate of the Alhambra put the incident down to an unfortunate interaction of subspace radiation destabilising the containment field around certain cargo, which in turn allowed for an explosive reaction.

Freki awoke several days later with a slight headache and evident memory loss. A few weeks later, he was back on the Starbase for funeral arrangements for his mother. He decided he needed to head to the Academy as planned as it was what his mother would have wanted.

He arranged transport and headed to Earth. A place called “San Francisco” where the academy was located. He was a studious boy and took every opportunity he had to learn something new, filling his time with extracurriculars and extra credit.
