History

Christopher B. Monday was born in Charleston SC, where his father was based while serving in Starfleet. When Christopher was six years old his mother and father decided to move to Tennessee. Where Christopher would later attend Tennessee Technological University and earn his Bachelors in Engineering focusing primarily on warp propulsion and was part of the ROTC program. While in ROTC Christopher would later be introduced to the love of his life, Lanora, at an ROTC ball his Freshman year. The two courted for three before Christopher mustard up the courage to propose. Christopher and Lanora and got married prior to graduation. Upon graduation in 2376, Christopher joined Starfleet after discussing it with Lanora because felt it was his duty to serve in space. His first assignment was aboard Starbase 349 under the command of Captain Liam Riskin as Assistant Engineer; due to Christopher’s dedication and work ethic, Riskin decided to fast-track Christopher’s career. The resignation of the Chief Engineer also helped propelled his career. Christopher and Lanora expanded their family while also advancing his career. In his tenure aboard Starbase 349 Christopher had been promoted a couple of times and finally becoming Lieutenant Commander in 2381, and continued to serve even after Riskin’s departure. By which time Christopher had become interested in Command, as a result of his peers? encouragement and a letter he discovered left by his former Commanding Officer. So Christopher enrolled in Command school and after graduating he received his first command aboard the USS Fearless, a Defiant Class Starship tasked with investigating criminal activity in Federation space until he had to take an extended leave of absence. However, Christopher’s dream is to one day return to Starbase 349.
