Summary

Though Kesri was born a full hermaphrodite, she has always had more feminine preferences including pronouns most of the time. The Ailurian is slightly on the small side for humanoid females, though not enough to give her trouble going about her work. She resembles a Terran red panda quite closely, covered with patterned fur in red, brown, black, and white, and sporting pointed ears and a fluffy ringed tail. She grows out the ‘hair’ on her head and styles it like members of other species. She keeps in line with Starfleet fitness standards, but isn’t toned or overly athletic, remaining soft in some areas.

General Overview Kesri is a good-natured, caring individual, filled with love for the universe. She is sunny and upbeat most of the time, laughing, and not allowing herself to become overburdened with worry. She wants to help everyone and do what she can to remove as much suffering from life as possible.

Kesri is a sunny optimist, with a bubbly sense of humor, and an overflowing sense of compassion. She sees the joy everywhere in life and tries to spread it to her crewmates and everyone else around her. She has a deep concern for her patients and demonstrates an attentive and nurturing style in her capacity as a healer, a role she takes very seriously. Personal History Kesri lost one of her parents at a very early age, before she even had a chance to know them. While the sense of lost possibility does weigh on her when she thinks about it, she isn’t haunted by the loss. The rest of her family and her settlement as well stepped in to raise her, and she never wanted for care and affection when growing up. Her many caregivers introduced her to everything they loved about the world around them, and she drank it all in, kindling a thirst for knowledge and exploration.

As time wore on and she grew older she found she was naturally suited to the work of helping to care for the settlement’s elderly residents, and this blossomed into an interest in care and healing. She decided on joining Starfleet Medical because they were so often on the forefront of relief efforts around known space, she felt it was a place she felt her gifts of healing could do the most good.
