Her skin is light brown and her hair is wavy and blond, though it’s clearly dyed and sometimes the black roots are clear. She’s about 5’5″ and 146 lbs. She’s Bajoran and has a nose ridge, but doesn’t wear Bajoran earrings.

History

Avak Karine was born to 2 members of the Bajoran Resistance. When she was 14, her younger sibling, Ekos, was born. When Karine was 18, in 2373, she joined the Bajoran Militia with her parents. She fought against the Dominion in 2374, but was captured as a prisoner. She was freed in 2375, when the war ended, but she was missing almost all of her memories. She didn’t want to return to her life on Bajor, and instead opted to enter the Starfleet Academy, and became a Tactical and Security Officer. She continued to avoid her family, because the idea that she’d had a whole life that she didn’t remember scared her.
