Summary

Alaric Constantine has just accepted a role as the Task Force 86 Executive Officer. While he has enjoyed his years on starships, exploring strange new worlds and experiencing new adventures regularly, he is excited to meet the challenge of his new role.

Appearance

Alaric stands 6′, 3″ tall with a muscular build from a life of competitive sports. He has black hair which he keeps about 1-2″ long, in a perpetually ruffled look. Generally sports a 5 0’clock shadow or extremely short beard, which has started to prematurely grey slightly in recent years. He has and old-fashioned ink tattoo on his back, depicting an octopus.

Personality

Alaric Constantine is a bit of a brooder. He tends to spend his free time alone, following individual pursuits. When partaking in competitive team sports, he puts on a friendly persona, but it is socially draining for him. Despite a tendency to keep to himself, he feels and acts protective towards his crew, and generally all who serve under him. He will go to great pains to help train and support them, and will gladly put himself in harm’s way to defend them. When in a supportive role, such as XO, he will fiercely express his opinions behind closed doors, but in front of the crew, always backs and executes the captain’s decisions. Despite the public face of loyalty, he would not hesitate to take a stand if he felt an order were incorrect and dangerous to those around him.
