Lieutenant (Jg) Clara Hask is a serious young Starfleet Intelligence officer assigned to lead the USS Albion’s elite Hazardous Situation Response Team. This highly capable Californian native is tasked with the training, deployment and command of the Hazard Team and her specialism in SAPINT operations makes Lt Hask responsible for advising the senior command staff on regional intelligence and providing field evaluation relating to extant and potential threats towards the ship, her mission and Starfleet as a whole.

History

Clara Hask was born in Santa Monica, California, on Earth. Orphaned at an early age, she was raised in a Federation Care facility and joined Starfleet Academy – her institutionalized upbringing being advantageous in advancing her through the team – oriented collegiate environment. However, she was also comfortable independently – a combination that saw her excel in Starfleet Security for her ability to think outside of the box.

Assigned to Starbase 72 as a Brig Officer, this highly intelligent officer with a flair for lateral thinking quickly garnered a reputation as an intuitive and effective interrogator – able to extract key evidence and testimony from suspects.

This performance saw her promoted to the rank of Lt (Jg) and assigned to intelligence gathering duties aboard the Defiant – class Escort USS Acheron (NCC – 75989), seconded to Sanctioned Operations with Starfleet Intelligence.

Transferring to the Inquiry – class Exploratory Cruiser, USS Albion (NCC – 89881) – when not engaged in her regular duties aboard, Lt (Jg) Hask Leads the vessels Hazard Team – providing specialist response with her team – mates, when situations arise that require their ‘rarified’ skill – set.
