Summary

Andron Jines is a Starfleet officer who is the chief flight control officer aboard the USS Orion. He has already made a name for himself as a skilled and dependable pilot. After graduating at the top of his class from Starfleet Academy, Jines displayed a strong aptitude for starship navigation and flight operations, earning commendations for his performance in both simulated and live training exercises.

Appearance

Jines’ appearance reflects his Rutian heritage. He has sandy brown hair featuring a distinguished pure grey quiff at the front, lightly streaked with wispy grey along the centre parting. His emerald green eyes are bright and carry a slight twinkle, reflecting his keen awareness and warm demeanour.

Dimples frame his smile, softening the rugged edge of the light stubble along his jaw. Although slightly slimmer than some of his peers, Jines maintains a lean, athletic build through regular training. His uniform is crisp yet comfortable, mirroring the quiet confidence he brings to his work.

Personality

Jines is a personable and enthusiastic officer known for his positive outlook and strong sense of duty. His natural charm and approachable demeanour make him well-liked by those around him. Jines is the kind of person who exudes warmth, often brightening the mood in any room he enters with his infectious energy and friendly nature. Though some may think he is naive in his outlook on the galaxy, he tries to remain an optimist in all situations. This is something he learnt from his parents who taught him of the troublesome past of his heritage. He is hopeful that such a thing will not become so bad during his lifetime. 

Jines is dedicated to his role as chief flight control officer and takes his responsibilities seriously. He is highly skilled at navigating the complexities of starship flight operations and remains calm under pressure, earning the trust of his superiors and comrades. While Jines is driven and focused on his duties, he never loses sight of the importance of teamwork and camaraderie. He is always willing to lend a hand or offer a listening ear when needed. 

His friendship with Brad Anderson is important to him. The two were former classmates and later dorm buddies when they were at the Academy. Though Anderson is more outgoing than Jines, the two both compliment and contrast each other. Jines is known for normally going along with any idea that Anderson has when it comes to some activity they are sharing during off-duty, be it on the holodeck, eating out or even what they get up to in the ship’s gym. 

At his core, Jines is a hopeless romantic who finds joy in the small moments of life. His idealism and belief in the good in others often guide his decisions, though his sincerity sometimes leads him to be more trusting than others might expect. Despite his youthful energy, Jines knows when to buckle down and take things seriously.
